Amigurumi Eeveelution: Leafeon

So I decided on Leafeon next
And it turned out well!

I have to say BIG THANKS to the pattern maker for leafeon because it was pretty fun ^0^
and it reminded me about other crochet stitches such as double/triple crochets
(because the last few times I crochet I have been doing amigurumis and its mostly just.. sc :P)
Didn't have much problem with the pattern
Just a couple of calculation was wrong
And I edited the back legs a little shorter, and also edited the tail a little wider at the top
(And not to forget my inner ears which I always crochet instead of cutting ready-made felt)

Rest of the pattern was good :D
Took me around 3days to complete I'd say

I'm pretty satisfied with leafeon!
and to be honest I was quite surprised when it started looking good
Honestly out of the eeveelutions I never really liked leafeon
Maybe because leafeon was released together with glaceon
and I really love glaceon :P

But while making this leafeon, I started liking this cutie quite a lot!
Maybe because the anime didn't really focus/emphasize leafeon so it looked as if leafeon isn't much impressive
but while making this, I realise leafeon really do have its own charms

I never thought of leafeon like this, but now
She really looks like a little forest elf to me :D

so anyway! Next up
I don't know.
Definitely not the blue ones (Vaporeon/Glaceon) because I'm re-ordering the blues
I thought about sylveon but I thought of getting the new blues first before deciding which blue I wanna use for her
And we're left with eevee and flareon which I still haven't thought about the best way to settle the furs because I really love them fluffy looks and I don't want to just make them...FLAT in the end

Probably I'll take a break while ordering the blues + deciding the furs~

Amigurumi Eeveelution: Jolteon

Here comes Jolteon..!

Initially I wanted to do Vaporeon first after the sun+moon couple (AKA Umbreon+Espeon)
and planned to do the first 3 eeveelutions (Jolteon+Vaporeon+Flareon)
But plans are meant to be changed :p
The blues that I got aren't really close to the right blue I wanted
So I'm thinking I would probably buy a few other blue shades along with my espeon purple the next time
and for now, lets just do the rest first

So I decided on jolteon, because I specially got a different yellow for it compared to the one I used for jirachi and umbreon rings
Its a little darker, probably darker than the yellow I see from pictures online
But I was pretty sure it would work out great because this yellow is just like thunder yellow
Just a tint of orange shade, but not too dark, not too bright of a yellow either

Anyway!
Though I credited the pattern but to be honest I basically only followed her ear and collar pattern
(not to forget body+head+legs are ofc, still from wolfdreamer)
I made my own patterns for the spikes because the ones from the link is all magic rings and rather thick
As I don't use ready-made felt pieces, I made my own black inner ear too
This is a lesson learnt from my Espeon..
Never do wool felting on a big area such as the inner ear lol

And so this one took longer than my umbreon/espeon
technically it's double the time
Took this one 4days
But also because I was kinda relaxed doing it because I had to plan the spikes too so I kinda slowed down my speed too......
..So maybe you wanna say it's 3days! :P

Alright here we go

Pretty much satisfied with this little one ^0^
The spikes turned out great too~ (Just lotsa weaving ends to do)
And kinda heavy too..
And this one almost, ALMOST used up my yarn ball (and mind you, it's a new ball..!)

But anyway enjoyed making this~
Next is probably flareon
But I've been hesitating on both eevee and flareon because of their fluffy parts
Someone on the net did them like fur but I still can't decide if I want it that way or make it a fixed shape sooooooooooooooo...
I dont know, maybe I'll end up doing someone else first instead while I think xD 

Amigurumi Eeveelution: Espeon

Before I start showing the pictures
There's this thing about my Espeon..

I wouldn't say I did a bad job
Because it really DOES KINDA look good
The only issue is
The colour is off...

You see
Because I ordered all my yarns together, after planning my whole eeveelution colours
And bought from TaoBao
(It's real cheap too! ^^)
The colour that I ordered for this espeon was supposedly purplish pink (more purplish on the picture though)
But when it came, it's more... PINK than purple

I mean, it doesn't matter if your colour is a bit darker or brighter than the original colour (of the Pokemon you're making)
But you see..
When the colour tone itself is kinda TOO different

This happened to my Espeon...

It's really not considered BAD..
If only it was the right colour
Or at least PURPLE
Would have been much better

I edited the pattern a bit too
for the ears and whiskers, just a little tweak in the ch count

Days taken to make: 2!
Same as Umbreon

Did my best to make it look more alike to Espeon but this is what I can do for now
I'll probably get another purple the next time I order and remake one more Espeon~

but don't this espeon look like a fox/cat? :p

Amigurumi Pokemon Collection- Eeveelution! : Umbreon

Following my first Pokemon amirugumi (Jirachi)
Next I'm gonna embark on the mission to complete the whole Eeveelution!
(Again, another of my personal favourite little cutie EEVEE!!)

Jirachi may be my favourite among legendaries
but among the rest of the hundreds of Pokemon..
It's definitely Eevee! ^0^
And of course, the WHOLE eeveelution line~

I intended to make Eevee first..
But I'm not really confident with the pattern that I found on the net
So I decided to do another eeveelution first which had a lovely pattern ready....
Umbreon!

So it's fairly easy
And fairly fast too! Compared to Jirachi
But because I just had my day surgery done for my ear infection
I kinda had the whole day to myself when I started to do the eeveelution so..
Of course compared to Jirachi it would be faster in that sense :p

Therefore this umbreon only took me...
2days!!

Anyway here's my umbreon!

Amigurumi Pokemon collection Start! : Jirachi

So it's been a while since I touched my knitting needles and crochet hooks..
And when I saw some really cute Pokemon Amigurumi online
I got the inspiration to do them too!

SO!
I decided to start my own Pokemon collection!
Not really a collection because I doubt I'll do a lot of different Pokemon
I'm just gonna pick the ones I like and do them :D

First up is.......
Jirachi!

If you haven't known this cutie
Jirachi is a Wish pokemon, meaning she/he (i dont know.. hahah) can make wishes come true!
Shaped like a star, its also one of the few cute ones in the legendary Pokemon list
Personally my favourite legendary (alongside celebi)
But of course Jirachi's first still
why?
because she's a cute little star darling ^0^

I searched a bit for a few patterns around the net for Jirachi
(since I'm not good enough to be making my own patterns yet)
and I took reference from here

I did change the pattern a little
Including shortening the body to make it more proportional
and also editing the arms because the method/pattern given was a little bulky after I tested one arm

Took me around a week or less (I took only a few hours every night to do a portion)
And here's the cutie!

Isn't she lovely~ =^0^=
Could have been better still if i remade the body to be rounder and legs a little shorter
But I didn't redo it anyway
Plus I like it this way too!
